Established in the spring of 2022, the Oaks platform is the latest creation of the Bethany Village Model Railroad club.
Situated in the lobby of the Oaks, our skilled care facility, it is a centerpiece for many residents who have limited access to the outdoors. The railroad club built The Oaks platform as an act of service to the residents and associates of The Oaks to demonstrate that we are all here at Bethany Village together. Everyone at Bethany Village can enjoy the fellowship of friends recreating childhood memories.
This HO gauge platform is on a 4 by 8 sheet of plywood. There are two trains running simultaneously. One on a full 4 by 8 Oval, the other is a Figure 8.
